Support coordination assists the individual’s ability to act independently and offers as much or as little support required. This allows individuals to control, in a sense, their own supports and encourages more community participation. Support coordination may be offered as part of an individual’s plan if there is potential they may undergo challenges navigating the NDIS or overseeing their plan effectively.
Interpreting and Translating
Individuals whose first language is one other than English may require assistance in accessing translating and interpreting services. Having important information about their plan communicated to the individual allows for effective support implementation.
